List of current podshifted podcasts
It would be cool to have a directroy or something to leverage what's already been requested

There are still a couple of things that trip us up and cause this problem. We’re still working on it, but see http://podshifter.com/halp for more info.

Create a paid site that processes faster
If you're using Amazon Web Services would it be easy to spin up another site that is paid by customers for faster turn around. I'm not as big of a fan of tea.

provide a way to pass login info
I really like manager tools (http://www.manager-tools.com/) but it needs an id and password for the feed - http://www.manager-tools.com/registered-members/rss.xml

We’ve tried to alter the original feed as lightly as we can. We show that it’s shifted in the feed title because we think that helps our users organise their feeds and because it makes clear that we’ve altered it (altering someone else’s feed silently seemed much worse). All of the original content creator’s content, branding, and etc. is still in place. How could we credit their content more while still delivering this service to our (and their) listeners?

let us import in a opml file
It would be nice if a user can import in a opml file and get a opml file export back out with speed up feed settings.

(err = -39)
I'm getting an (err = -39) on a couple of feeds that have worked normally in the past. Specifically "The Skeptics Guide to the Universe" (1.4x) and "This Week in Virology" (1.2x).

Google Reader can't load the feed
I am trying to add a shifted feed for No Agenda to Google reader, so I can listen to it with Google Listen on my android phone.
So, I created a shifted feed (http://podshifter.com/160/http:%2F%2Fmevio.com%2Ffeeds%2Fnoagenda.xml), and tried to add it to Google Reader.
However, it tells me that my search did not match any results.
Any ideas?

provide an equalizer control
I have a hearing impairment with voice podcasts. My difficulty is hearing the HIGHER frequencies of the human voice. BTW: This is typical of millions of people after age 55 or 60...
So, it would be great to have podShifter boost these HIGHER frequencies, at normal speed (with a sort of an "Equalizer" control interface).
Then, I could load the resulting "HIGH frequency enhanced" podcast from podShifter.

Fix 404 error.
Several podcasts today (11/13/09) have been producing a 404 instead of the usual 503 on load. These are the same podcasts that have been working for me for months, so I assume something happened today in particular...? Do we need to reload the podcasts, or is this a temporary glitch? I also see one of the podcasts updated a few hours later, and that one now gets a 503 (typical until it converts).
3 votesIf the podcast source gives us 404s, we pass them through to you. If it’s a problem that existed for a while then resolved… that sounds like what might have happened.
(If you had the same thing on multiple podcasts it’s more likely our fault, but I need more information – can I have a link?)
